Job brief

We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Developer to lead our team of software developers with the experience and capability to execute efficiently at all levels of the software development machinery. The successful candidate will be able to establish requirements, delegate project tasks to team members, follow up to verify that all projects are completed on time and as requested and report to clients and key stakeholders. The candidate must be able to build high-quality, innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design.

 

Responsibilities

•         Maintain managerial and leadership duties of software development team
•         Assist in the hiring, on-boarding and growth of junior developers
•         Excel in the duties of a software developer; coding, software architecture and design principles
•         Interact with clients and key stakeholders on project progress
•         Document and maintain software functionality with extensibility in view
•         Contribute to the management of software tools, processes and metrics
•         Contribute to technical architecture decision making
•         Comply with project plans and industry standards

 

Requirements

•         BSc degree in Computer Science or Engineering
•         5 Years relevant hands-on development experience, 2 of which must have been in a leadership role
•         Ability to develop software in C, C++, C#, Java or other selected languages
•         Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies
•         Ability to grasp and master new languages and the usage of new tools and technologies quickly
•         Ability to document and deliver on requirements and specifications
•         Proficient with software development methodology and release processes
